WARDROBE WEDNESDAY: SHIVON T.

Shivon is a Health & Safety Specialist that works for a network of six unique hospitals and a cancer centre, providing services to maintain a safe and healthy environment for both staff and patients. Her passion for healthcare stems from a childhood interest in helping others that eventually developed into a career choice. She now holds a Master’s degree in Public Health and intends on using it on a global scale to improve the work conditions in developing communities.

In addition to her professional career, Shivon has been modeling in fashion shows, magazine editorials, catalogues, and music videos since her teenage years. From vibing alongside Sean Paul, to posing for Sirens/Urban Planet apparel, she has embraced all diversity that the industry has to offer with class and humility. While continuing to expand her brand, she hopes to use this platform to set an example for younger girls that aspire to become models as she filters the content of her work to promote positivity, culture, and confidence.

Currently, Shivon is looking forward to taking on a new endeavor– she is traveling through the West Indies to provide toys and supplies to orphanages that are challenged by financial strain. The first stop on her list is her birthplace – the beautiful tropical country of Guyana. Staying authentic to her West Indian roots, Shivon is grateful for this opportunity to give back to the land and culture that helped to shape the person she is today.
